Professor Stefan Bornholdt

Stefan Bornholdt's work focuses on the ways in which simple elementary forces and constituents interact to generate complex systems and processes—life, evolution, brains, genomes, immune systems, societies—and is inherently interdisciplinary. He is a professor of physics and leader of the Complex Systems Lab in the Institute for Theoretical Physics at the University of Bremen.
