Dr. Clare Dudman

Clare Dudman is author of four novels, including the historic science novel, Wegener's Jigsaw, which is based on the life of the geologist and meterologist Alfred Wegener, and 98 Reasons for Being, which imagines the inner lives of the 19th century German psychiatrist Heinrich Hoffman and his patients. Dr. Dudman has a PhD in chemistry and has has worked as an academic and industrial research chemist, and as a teacher and university lecturer in creative writing. She is a member of the Welsh Academy, and has and has won three awards for her writing.
