Professor Alan Lightman

Alan Lightman is a distinguished physicist, as well as an accomplished novelist and essayist. He has authored six novels, including the international bestseller Einstein's Dreams, a collection of poetry, numerous research articles and books on physics for the general reader, and many award-winning essays about the human side of science and the dual worlds of art and science. He currently holds a post as Professor of the Practice of the Humanities at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
