Michael Byers

Michael Byers is an award-winning short story writer and novelist. His two most recent novels take us into two very different realms of scientific endeavor--contemporary biomedical research and early twentieth century astronomy. He is associate professor in creative writing and director of the Helen Zell Writers’ Program at the University of Michigan.
