Dr. Pippa Goldschmidt

Pippa Goldschmidt was an FMS-HWK Writer in Residence in 2014-2015. She holds a PhD in astronomy and has worked as an astronomer at Imperial College, as well as in outer space policy for the civil service. A graduate of the Masters course in creative writing at the University of Glasgow, she was the recipient of the Scottish Book Trust/Creative Scotland New Writers Award, and her 2013 novel, The Falling Sky, was shortlisted for the Dundee International Book Prize.
