Dr. Alexander Kroll
Alexander Kroll is a media and literary scholar and media professional, his activities
so far include academic work as a research assistant at the University of Konstanz
as well as long-standing journalism for print and online publications. Dr Kroll also
worked in TV/film production and illustration. He studied in Frankfurt and London
and received his doctorate from the TU Darmstadt. His published dissertation TV Serienästhetik
der Grenzüberschreitung covers the aesthetics of post 9/11 television serials. In
the context of FMS, his research focuses on formations and reflections of nature in
contemporary TV serials.
