modern representations of female historical scientists in contemporary biographical
fiction.

On this date, FMS members welcomed Michael Lacky and discussed Biographical Fiction
and the History of Women in
Science from the perspectives of feminist politics
and narration. As basis, they used an article, a novel and a theatre play all focusing
on the life of Caroline Herschel.
