Institutes, Centers, & Projects

Empirical Ecocritcism focuses on the empirically-grounded study of environmental narrative--in literature, film, television, etc.--and its influence on various audiences. The methods and goals are very similar to those used in understanding the influence of science narratives, and, indeed, many environmental narratives are science based.

ELINAS (Erlanger Zentrum für Literatur und Naturwissenschaft)
An interdisciplinary research center dedicated to study of language and metaphors in physical research and to the discursive and narrative modulations of scientific theories in literary texts.

RCLAS
