Jay Labinger Jay Labinger, Professor

Jay Labinger is Administrator of the Beckman Institute and Faculty Associate in Chemistry at Caltech. He is an inorganic chemist by training and practice, with research interests including organometallic chemistry and energy-related catalysis, and spends much of his time roaming the borders between science and the humanities, being active in areas such as science and literature, history of science, sociology of science, and science studies. He is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
